Delivery Policy

Online shopping for healthcare should be easy and stress-free. That’s why we’ve created a convenient delivery guide to walk you through our delivery choices-

  • All orders will be dispatched upon successful receipt of payment.
  • Some items, such as flammable products and aerosols, may have restrictions, and certain weight/size conditions may limit available delivery options.
  • Estimated delivery dates exclude bank holidays and public holidays.
  • Delivery timelines are aligned with the chosen delivery option. While we strive to meet these timelines, they are indicative, and actual delivery times may vary.
  • Orders may be delivered in multiple packages.
  • Delivery to PO Box addresses is not available.
  • Being a registered UK pharmacy, we exclusively ship the medicines we offer to addresses within the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to facilitate shipments to destinations outside the UK, such as the Republic of Ireland, the USA, Australia, and BFPO addresses. Depending on location, order contents, and weight, a combination of couriers may be used for safe delivery. For instance, aerosols may require a road-based courier, complying with the January 2013 Dangerous Goods Act by the Civil Aviation Authority. No additional delivery fees will be charged for this.
  • While we make every effort to adhere to estimated dispatch timescales, unforeseen factors may cause occasional delays. We are not liable for delays beyond our control. However, in compliance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, all orders will be fulfilled within a maximum of 30 days, or a full refund will be issued.
  • We take pride in partnering with Royal Mail for the delivery of almost 100% of our parcels. Royal Mail generally conducts deliveries from Monday to Friday and occasionally on Saturdays.

Patient Safety

We consistently prioritize patient safety and actively support the self-management of short-term conditions. Our over-the-counter medicines fall into two classifications: General Sales List (GSL) medicines or Pharmacy (P) medicines, with close monitoring of sales in both categories. Despite not requiring a prescription, we, as a responsible pharmacy, ask questions when customers purchase Pharmacy medicines.

Upon submitting your order, it will be temporarily “suspended” until our UK-based Pharmacists review the questionnaire responses and ensure satisfaction with your purchase. Additional questions may be necessary before processing your order. Please note that we reserve the right to limit, restrict, or cancel purchases as deemed necessary.

In our commitment to safeguarding our patients, we implement restrictions on the sale of products containing the following ingredients: • Paracetamol • Ibuprofen • Aspirin • Codeine • Dihydrocodeine • Promethazine • Dextromethorphan • Pseudoephedrine • Ephedrine • Bisacodyl • Loperamide • Cinnarizine • Clemastine • Chlorphenamine • Cyproheptadine These measures are in place to ensure responsible and safe usage of these ingredients. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our team

Restrictions

We adhere to legal requirements that impose restrictions on the sale of specific items, including paracetamol, aspirin, codeine, dihydrocodeine, pseudoephedrine, and ephedrine. This is not only to comply with the law but also to prioritise patient safety by preventing the sale of medicines associated with misuse and abuse.

Our commitment extends to ensuring that patients receive an appropriate amount of medication, discouraging unnecessary accumulation. Additionally, we advocate for patients to seek guidance from healthcare professionals if issues persist or recur. The cautious use of over-the-counter medication is crucial to avoid masking underlying health concerns during prolonged usage. Your well-being is our foremost concern, and we encourage responsible and informed healthcare decisions.

Returns & Refunds

To initiate the return process for an item, kindly adhere to these straightforward steps. If you wish to return an item, please notify us within 1 day of the order being delivered. Following this notification, you have an additional 4 days to return the item to us. This provides a total window of 5 days for the return process. Your prompt communication and adherence to this timeline are appreciated in facilitating a smooth return experience.

Feel free to reach out to a member of our Customer Care team at 01234 831 768 to notify us about any returns. However, please be aware that we cannot accept returns for the following items unless they are damaged or faulty:

Perishable items. • Baby Milks. • Unsealed items with a protective seal due to health protection or hygiene reasons. • Medicinal products or services that are either dispensed on prescription or are available free under an NHS arrangement. • Medicinal products that are approved by the Pharmacy team.

Kindly note that these restrictions do not affect your statutory rights. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Customer Care team for assistance.

Where to send Returns

After notifying our Customer Care team, please send your returns to the following address: Healthimax, 5 Stephenson Court, Fraser Road, Priory Business Park, Bedford, MK44 3WJ.

Please be aware that you are responsible for the costs associated with returning items, and we cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur during the transit of returned goods. It is crucial to securely and appropriately package the items. We recommend using a recorded delivery service for all returns to ensure a traceable shipping process. If you have any additional questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Customer Care team.

Processing Refunds

Our goal is to complete the refund process within 3-5 working days upon receiving your item. However, please note that it may take up to 30 days for the refund to reflect in your account through the original payment method.

Upon canceling the contract, you are obligated by a legal ‘duty of care’ to maintain the items in good condition and cover the cost of their return. We reserve the right to deduct an amount from the refund to account for any loss of revenue in the value of the goods supplied, potentially up to 100%, if such loss is a consequence of unnecessary handling of the goods on your part.

Per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2014, we commit to refunding the entire amount paid for the returned items within 14 days from the date of receiving the notice of cancellation.

Payment Information

All fees to UK customers are made clear before checkout is complete. Payment for the products is due immediately upon the placing of buyers order online. Payment is accepted by credit and debit card.

No payment will be received and nothing will be dispatched until any payment made has cleared and been received by us. The buyer will receive confirmation that the transaction has been received, has been authorised and that the buyer’s card has been debited. The buyer will also receive a reference number, which will be required for any future correspondence.

Buyers credit and debit card details are administered by SagePay. We do not store your credit and debit card information.

Pricing and Availability

If an item is not available at the time of ordering, this may be mentioned as “out of stock” on the product information page. As Healthimax processes the buyers order, Healthimax may e-mail the buyer if any products ordered turn out to be unobtainable.

Whilst Healthimax will try to be as accurate as possible, Healthimax apologise in advance if Healthimax ever makes a pricing error. Wherever possible Healthimax will try to honour the incorrect price as a gesture of goodwill, however this is not always possible and if for some reason Healthimax is unable to sell the buyer the product at the stated price or less, we will contact the buyer first before proceeding.

In the market place Healthimax can never, always be the cheapest, in all medicines and sizes, however, Healthimax continually endeavour to offer options for each medicine that represent amongst the best value for money on the internet.

Product Quality

Healthimax will only source and use medicines that have been licensed for use in the UK. Healthimax only buys medicines direct from either the manufacturer or from an authenticated UK licensed wholesaler.

Healthimax will of course try and provide the buyer the products with the longest possible expiry date on them, but sometimes this is not always achievable. Some products only come with limited life or it may be that the manufacturer only has a certain date available for a product. Please check of all medicine received to make sure that the buyer uses it within the safe timeframe.

Please use, handle and store all products as stated in the manufacturers information or in our specific instructions, if supplied. The manufacturers, Healthimax nor SHC cannot be held responsible if the buyer deviate from this advice.

Trade Marks

The trade marks, names, logos and service marks (collectively “trade marks”) displayed on this website are registered and unregistered trade marks of the Website Owner.
