Piriton allergy tablets

Piriton Allergy Tablets are designed to alleviate allergic symptoms associated with hayfever and other allergies. The active ingredient, chlorphenamine maleate, is an antihistamine effective in relieving symptoms such as itchiness, redness, swelling, tenderness, and irritation caused by various allergens including:

• Hayfever and other allergies like pet, house dust mite, and mold spore allergies
• Nettle rash and hives
• Skin allergies and dermatitis • prickly heat and heat rash • reactions to food, food additives or medicines • insect bites and stings • the itchy rash of chickenpox.

Suitable for:
Adults and children aged 6 years and over.

Warnings & Cautions:
Do not use Piriton Allergy Tablets if you have experienced an allergic reaction to antihistamines or any ingredients or if you have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) for depression within the past two weeks. Avoid taking these tablets if you are already using other medications containing antihistamines, including those for colds and coughs.

Take precautions with Piriton Allergy Tablets:

• Consult your doctor before using these tablets if you have conditions such as very high blood pressure, heart disease, epilepsy, glaucoma, enlarged prostate, liver disease, kidney disease, bronchitis, asthma, bronchiectasis, or chronic lung disorders that cause breathing difficulties and persistent cough.
• Refrain from consuming alcohol while taking this medicine.
• Do not drive or operate machinery if the tablets cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision.
• If you have been informed by your doctor about sugar intolerance, seek medical advice before using Piriton Allergy Tablets.

How to use:
For oral use. Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take one tablet every 4 to 6 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Children aged 6 to 12 years: Give half a tablet every 4 to 6 hours. Do not give more than 6 half tablets in 24 hours.
Children under 6 years: not recommended.
