Aspirin Dispersible Tablets are an antiplatelet medication that helps stop blood cells sticking together and causing blood clots. Dispersible aspirin tablets offer rapid absorption, and are safe for use by patients who have trouble swallowing since they ensure the right dosage is taken, even in cases of dysphagia.
Suitable for:
Patients who have had bypass surgery or who have a history of heart attacks, unstable angina, or strokes.
Warnings & Cautions:
- Not to be used for pain relief.
- Patient should be over 16 years of age, unless prescribed by a doctor.
- Not to be taken with other medication.
- Do not take if you have a stomach ulcer.
- This medication should not be taken in pregnancy without consulting with a doctor.
- Keep this medication out of the sight of children.
How to use:
- Dissolve tablets in water before taking them by mouth
- Consult a doctoer before starting this medication for the first time.
- For long-term use, one or two tablets taken once daily is the typical dosage.
- On a doctor’s recommendation, a greater dosage of up to four pills per day may be used in certain situations, particularly in the short term.
